Twisted Complications By Nikita Parmenter - Book 3 In The Finding My Home Series

This series just keeps getting better, and this book proves it

Nikita has done it again! At this point, I really shouldn’t be surprised after how much I loved the first two books, but somehow each one just keeps getting better. Her writing is so addictive and immersive that the moment I finished, I already wanted to dive straight into the next book—and luckily, I didn’t have to wait this time.

This installment picks up right where the last one ended, keeping the energy and emotions running high. Ever and the guys are starting at a new school, and right from the beginning there’s a majorsurprise waiting for them. I won’t spoil it, but it definitely changes the dynamic and keeps the story fresh and exciting.

One of the most rewarding parts of this book is finally getting to see Ever and the guys living together. After everything they went through in the second book, the separation was so hard on them, so watching them finally find that sense of home as a family was incredibly satisfying. Their bond just keeps growing, and it’s impossible not to root for them.

There’s also a lot of mystery woven throughout the story. We get to explore more of Ever’s background, as well as the guys’, and every new piece of information adds depth to their characters. On top of that, Ever makes a new friend who quickly became one of my favorites—he’s hilarious and brings such a fun energy to the group. I’m really looking forward to seeing more of him as the series continues.

As always with Nikita’s writing, this book balances everything so well: funny moments that made me laugh out loud, heartbreaking twists that hit me right in the chest, and shocking revelations that kept me turning the pages. It’s a full spectrum of emotions in the best possible way.

Liam, in particular, has me intrigued. There’s something about the way he interacts with Ever that feels different from the others, and I can’t wait to find out what’s really going on with him. I just really hope my gut feeling doesn’t lead to anything messy.

Rage was another character I wasn’t sure about at first. I worried about how he’d fit into the group dynamic, but just like Atlas, he slotted in perfectly. He feels like he belongs with them, and I’m excited to see how his relationship with Ever continues to develop.

The ending was intense, but since I already had the next book waiting for me, I didn’t have to sit in suspense this time—I could just jump straight in. And honestly, that made the reading experience even better. This series flows so seamlessly from one book to the next, and I’m loving every single second of it.
